$15 Million Generac Class Action Settlement Receives Final Approval

On October 22, 2026, the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Wisconsin granted final approval of a $15 million class action settlement involving Generac PWRcell solar power systems.

The lawsuit alleged that certain components were defective, causing system disruptions and reduced energy production. Generac denied the allegations.

The settlement provides monetary relief for eligible consumers, along with warranty modifications and educational materials.
