NC Business Court Appoints Matthew E. Lee Interim Class Counsel in Triad Radiology Litigation

Lee Segui founding partner Matthew E. Lee was appointed interim putative class counsel on July 2, 2026 in the consolidated litigation against Triad Radiology Associates, PLLC pending in the North Carolina Business Court involving a data breach.

Interim class counsel appointments like this provide leadership and coordination in proposed class actions before a court determines whether a class should be certified. In that role, interim class counsel  represents the interests of the putative class through pre-certification proceedings operating as the point person and designated decision maker for the plaintiffs and their counsel, including managing motions, discovery, settlement negotiations, and all other pretrial proceedings for the plaintiffs.
