Lee Segui partner and co-chair of the firm’s Employment and Civil Rights practice group Jeremy Williams has been appointed Interim Co-Lead Class Counsel in In re UPS Tariff Litigation, a consolidated class action pending in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.
The litigation brings together three related proposed class actions against United Parcel Service, Inc. involving IEEPA tariff-related claims. In an August 7, 2026 order, the Court consolidated the cases for pretrial proceedings and trial under the title In re UPS Tariff Litigation.
In appointing Williams to the leadership role, the Court cited counsel’s work identifying and investigating the claims, experience handling class actions and other complex litigation, knowledge of the applicable law, and resources available to represent the proposed class.
The appointment places Williams in a central, shared leadership role as the litigation moves forward.
